Magnificent... For the last 15 years, I have been researching the Russo-Japanese War. My great grandfather was Captain, 2nd Rank, Mech. Engineer, Alexander Petrov, aboard the Imperator Alexander III. He had also served in Port Arthur prior to embarking on that fateful expedition. You have given me new leads of research. I am very, very grateful. If you can give me more info. on the 2nd Pacific Fleet, I would be very thankful...

Overall quite good. I would recommend you try to get archival material on line dealing with incomplete or planned building projects. Also, something no other country seemingly had except pre-war Germany was the issuance of postage stamps bearing Russain ships. That might prove worthwhile for currency!

Not bad. But may be improved. The portrait gallery of Russian admirals needs to be filled with the portraits of our heros. They deserved that. Beside, if I am not mistaken, Lefort and Menshikov look very much alike. It is not the sam e portrait? Iwould appreciate if you could represent Russia in more diverse ways: history, traditions, modern life in order to produce less static view. Anyway, you are making noble cause! Best regards!

Greetings from your sister museum in Norway! As Norwegians we are of course proud that one of your greatest admirals was of Norwegian origin! I am sorry not having been able to visit your museum yet - but look out - I intend to visit you. In the mean time, let us continue to cooperate in the spirit that Navy men are the superior! Try our webside http://www-ri.hive.no for our presentation, regrettably now only in Norwegian, will shortly be available in English, French and German. Keep up the good work.

Your effort deserves an applause and there should be more web pages concerning Russian military hardware especially in promoting those hardwares to South East Asia. I can say that I am proud that the Royal Malaysian Air Force is now using the MiG-29. Let's hope the Royal Malaysian Navy will follow suit probably with a Kilo Class Submarine.

This is the first site in the Internet about the Russian Navy that I found and which is made in Russia. It's good. I hope that maybe you will create an original Russian Navy site that contents all information about the subject as it' s done in many other contries. Unfortunatelly your server works very slow and it takes too many time to download the pictures. P.S. I've never heard 'semi-armoured frigates' as a name of the class of Monomakh and other similar ships. 'Belted cruisers' is usualy used for their class name.

This information is very imformative. I have logged on here to get a better understanding of Peter the Great and the battles fought to reinforce my study in college. Keep up the good work.
